Anders Lewendal comes to Bozeman custom homebuilding with an excellent background. Along with working as a journeyman carpenter in the San Francisco Bay area in the mid-80s, he has a degree in Business Economics (1982) from the University of California. That economic training is reflected in his strong adherence to budgets. Anders realizes the importance of an affordable home, and clients regularly praise Anders for setting budgetary agreements, and for continuously communicating with them about budgetary constraints and choices. Similarly, Anders creates timelines that guide client expectations for each of his projects. He is regularly congratulated for being “on-time and on-budget” and has done so on 130 Bozeman homes already.

Anders is a past president of the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association. In addition to promoting safe, efficient, and affordable housing, Anders chairs the SWMBIA Green Building Committee. Having an National Association of Home Builders’ Certified Green Professional designation helps Anders educate clients about the latest building science and allows him to put those best practices to use.

Anders is committed to long-lasting, quality construction, both in design and in environmental friendliness. As Anders says, “We consistently produce interior and exterior details which stand the test of time and remain appealing to the eye for many years. We strongly believe if our limited resources must be used, those resources must be joined together to produce a lifetime of service, and then some. We use products in the homes I build that offer longevity, ease of use in both installation and maintenance, and a high recycled content if possible.”
